Hand-Painted Vintage Violet Keepsake Box

This sweet vintage keepsake box is hand-painted white with gold trim and a pretty violet design. It says, "Hand Painted - Merit China - Made in Japan" on the bottom. This charming box would be perfect on a vanity or for a little girl's room!  

Approximate Measurements:

4-1/4"long and 3-1/2"wide; with the lid, it is about 1-5/8"high

Condition: Very good vintage condition. No major chips or cracks. The inner rim of the lid has a couple tiny little chips that you would never notice unless you were really looking for them. The gold paint has some general fading (see photos).
